Madonna and Guy Ritchie Divorce?

MADONNA AND RITCHIE'S MARRIAGE IN TROUBLE
The queen of pop and the British action director are at it again. Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie are facing rumours again that their marriage is on the rocks. The couple has been married for just over seven years, they have children and the attention of the world media with every step they take.

The attention they are receiving now appears to be unwanted. Their marriage appears to be more strained than ever. Not the greatest place to be. Following appearances at numerous gala events of late, both parties have been putting on the brave face but the reality of their situation seems hard to mask. The deal in their marriage is to support one another in their careers, much like the classic wedding vow of for better or for worse, however the deal seems to be struggling in the face of divorce.

It wasn't long ago that Madonna could be seen jogging around Manhattan outside her palatial home pretending to avert the watchful eye of the paparazzi. She would run a circuit, careful not to go too quickly as to escape their ever-present lenses. Often she would appear as though she were ignoring their presence while carefully making sure they were close behind. Other times she would wave and assure them that all was well in the Madonna and Ritchie union while simultaneously giving them a breakdown of where she would be running that day.

Today, Madonna and Guy Ritchie seem to be running from a different sort of pest. Several months back rumours swirled that Madonna was having an affair with superstar baseball player Alex Rodriguez. They were seen out together a couple of times and it appeared questionable as to whether they were more than friends. Or were they? Neither seemed ready to address any questions in public. Since the rumours began, Rodriguez has had to deal with his wife filing for divorce. It would appear there had been problems on that front for a while.

Problems for Ritchie and Madonna have been coming in packages. The two have extremely busy schedules. Ritchie has been working on film development and promotion while she has been touring and promoting a documentary project. They don't get to see each other very often except for when they have their children all together. Supposedly, Madonna is known to call Ritchie repeatedly when she doesn't know where he is. Additionally, it has become increasingly difficult for Ritchie to promote upcoming projects when out on PR jaunts with his wife as she is known to demand the spotlight's attention. Finally, it is believed that Ritchie and Madonna have now resorted to texting one another at bed time, fuelling stories that they no longer share the same bedroom.

Despite whether the rumours are true, a Ritchie-Madonna divorce would have substantial ramifications. It is believed her fortune numbers well over three hundred million. That is dollars by the way. It is unclear at this time if there were any agreements signed that were legally binding that would affect the dispensation of this fortune, only time will tell. It is certain that a large chunk of change will be exchanged in the event of a divorce and proceedings will likely continue for some time.

A divorce will in all likelihood be more of an emotional strain than anything else. Ritchie has had a successful film career behind the camera and has in all likelihood socked away a few pounds. While Madonna will obviously continue to be Madonna. She has been around for a long time and if the courts decide that she has to give up a piece, which I'm sure she has done in the past, she will in all likelihood have plenty more of that pie left behind.
