AC/DC Black Ice Tour Rocks

If you are a rock music fan and you are wondering what music event you should witness this year, go see AC/DC. If you aren't already a fan of the group, this show should get you there. These guys continue rock like very few in the business ever have.

If you claim to be a fan of booming rock music, but haven't checked out an AC/DC concert yet, you don't know what you are missing. The band has currently finished six dates of its Canadian portion of the Black Ice Tour, with one remaining date in Vancouver. If you are a canuck and want to catch them in the great white north, get out west and catch them before they are gone. If however you don't mind waiting until January, rumour has it that they will be appearing in Toronto again around that time.

This has to be one of the most remarkable bands ever. Considering most of their songs have become iconic rock ballads like 'Hells Bells', 'Highway To Hell', 'TNT', 'For Those About To Rock', just to name a few, it is not surprising they have survived the digital age and maintained a loyal following despite the onslaught of bubble gum pop garbage polluting mainstream radio and video. It is safe to say that most music being produced today will be quickly forgotten along with the artists who think they can sing and entertain.

AC/DC will always be around. After the band is gone and can tour and record no more, the band will still be around. Their music will live on forever. Just check out a show where they sing songs that are over twenty years old and listen to the tens of thousands in the audience screaming for more. You will probably not see anything like it again. There are only a couple of bands working today that have achieved the same kind of status. The Rolling Stones are one of them to give you an indication of calibre.

The members of AC/DC are all in their fifties except for Brian Johnston, their monster lead vocalist, who comes in at 61. Their fans of all ages love just as much as ever. If you need any indication of the band's staying power and appeal to a mass audience, take into consideration that once Barak Obama takes office, they will have been rocking it out for the duration of eight administrations. My guess is that you will not see that from many other artists in your lifetime.

Check these guys out if they are coming through your town. I bet you won't be able to keep up with them and who knows if they will be coming through again. I hope they will.
