Dexter Killer in Danger

News has begun to spread that one of the best crime dramas on television could be in danger. The HBO mainstay Dexter, the story of a serial killer working as a blood spatter expert with the Miami Police Department, may be in trouble.

For my two cents, I just don't buy it. This show is great. If you haven't caught an episode just yet, go catch up. It is the kind of show that helps to watch from the beginning. Numerous previous story lines are constantly referred to throughout and knowing where they come from definitely helps in understanding the series. This may be a problem for newer viewers. However, it wouldn't take much to catch up.

The show is worth watching. It is completely original possessing both dramatic and comedic elements. I may have written a small piece about it earlier but it is worth your time if you enjoy the crime drama, cop shows, lawyer things or even if you just like to see the bad guys get what is coming for them. This show would be right for you. To top it all off it is a lot of fun.

It is great to know that these characters are not all perfect. The one thing that drives me crazy about the CSI shows is that they almost always get their guys. They always manage to figure things out and enough is always left behind for them to do it. Horatio or Miami CSI, is pretty much always right about everything. Come on, how about a little realism so we can buy it.

The great thing about Dexter is how flawed everybody happens to be. They are all real people with this extraordinary sociopath working amongst them. Best part is that fact that you end up cheering for the sociopath because except for his minor compulsion, he happens to be just like everyone else. Well, everyone else and skilled with a butcher knife.

Don't miss Dexter if you haven't seen it yet. I refuse to believe this show is in any immediate danger. With all the garbage on the boob tube these days, we have to rally to support the good stuff.
